Why does the Resurrection Matter?
“Christianity is a RESURRECTION religion. The RESURRECTION lies at its heart; if you remove the RESURRECTION, Christianity is destroyed.”
The Resurrection screams that NOTHING in your life—your past, your pain, your fear, your addictions, your failures, or even death gets the final say anymore.
1. THE RESURRECTION PROVES WE CAN TRUST EVERYTHING JESUS SAID
How do we know which one’s true?
Because Jesus rose from the dead, we have proof that Christianity is true which means we can trust everything He said.
2. THE RESURRECTION GIVES US NEW LIFE
Because of the Resurrection you can find freedom from the tomb you’ve been trapped in.
3. THE RESURRECTION GIVES US ACCESS TO A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS
Throughout history people have been looking for a connection with God.
He’s interested and cares about YOUR LIFE and what you’re going through RIGHT NOW!

Jesus didn’t rise from the grave to inspire you…He rose to EMPOWER YOU!
We don’t need a second chance we need a NEW POWER!
In Luke 10:19 Jesus said, “I have given you authority and power over the enemy!”

Because of the Resurrection Jesus can redeem and give meaning to our pain and bring beauty out of the ashes of our lives

The Resurrection provides us with a new family, a new community, a new society, and a new mission in life.
