Jesus was fulfilling His destiny through this “receiving up” to forgive sin and open heaven
How could they miss this? Because they connected to the loss not the provision
- Bethphage - House of unripe figs. This choice goes around the Mount of Olives and is easier!
- Bethany - House of affliction. This road goes over the Mount of Olives and is harder!

Even the provision required a choice, a “participating choice” in His known “sacrifice.”
Because provision is an end result He chose the difficult path!
The difficult place in Jesus’ life is where we can see the eternal nature of HIS provision!
His provision received by us begins our journey of His provision in our life.
