1. What makes a promise believable? How is it tied to the character of the one making the promise? How does this affect the promise in this message?

2. When you hear the words, “Born again” what do you think of? Why do we tend not to use this biblical phrase very often anymore?

3. Why is it so important that the Bible describes our inheritance as being imperishable, undefiled and unfading?

4. Do you believe a person can lose their salvation if they are truly saved? Why or why not and where in the Bible supports this?

5. How does facing hardship with purpose allow us to rejoice, even in hardships?

6. Knowing that joy is one of the Fruits of the Spirit (see Galatians 5:22-23), what is your next step of growth in becoming more joyful in your present circumstances?

7. What’s your next step in response to this message?
