👀 Vision Sunday | December 7

Join us on Sunday, December 7, at any campus for the biggest Vision Sunday yet! All campuses will hear the vision for 2026 and what’s happening at Mercy Culture in the coming year. This will be the most vision we’ve EVER cast in the history of Mercy Culture. You don’t want to miss it!
You radically love God by not coveting.
Covetousness is the open door to Jezebel!
What is the Greatest Commandment?
The Greatest Commandment is the key to keeping all Ten—and that's Radical Love!
Covetousness is the internal sin that drives external rebellion.
Covetousness is the unseen root that produces visible sin.
Hebrew: חָמַד (Lachamod) = To desire deeply, take delight in, long for what belongs to another; a consuming craving that displaces right judgment.
Coveting was never just wanting something—it was wrongfully imagining life with what God gave your neighbor.
Coveting is a silent theft of the heart.
Biblical Examples of Covetousness
- Eve coveted the fruit → sin enters the world.
- Cain coveted Abel’s favor → murder.
- David coveted Bathsheba → adultery, conspiracy, bloodshed.
- Achan coveted the devoted things → defeat for Israel.
- Ananias & Sapphira coveted reputation → death.
Covetousness is desire disconnected from devotion.
Covetousness is the internal rebellion that fuels external sin.
Jezebel doesn't need access—she needs an opening.
Jezebel attaches herself to un-surrendered desire.
Jezebel thrives where leaders refuse to deal with desire.
Characteristics of the Jezebel spirit
- Manipulation through emotion
- Control through intimidation
- Seduction through flattery
- Sabotage of spiritual authority
- Attacks on identity and inheritance
- False accusation against the righteous
- Twisting justice to justify sin
- Hostility toward repentance
- Hatred for prophetic truth
- Targeting leaders, intercessors, and inheritance carriers
Jezebel’s Goal: To kill what God established and steal what God gave.
The more a house grows in Radical Love, the more it must guard against radical tolerance of Jezebel.
Radical Love is incompatible with coveting because Radical Love delights in God's will and God's gifts, not someone else's.
Radical Love loves God for no reason.

Covetousness is never satisfied—no matter the reason.
How to combat Covetousness and the Spirit of Jezebel
1. Repent of un-surrendered desire
2. Practice Gratitude
Gratitude is the spiritual opposite of coveting.
Coveting says, "I don't have what I deserve."

Gratitude says, "God has given me more than I deserve."

Mercy Culture Value of Honor
Governed by Honor

Honor reflects Heaven’s value. Honor protects freedom, creates safe places and reflects a Kingdom identity. Honor is about self-control not control.

Wherever desire is not surrendered, Jezebel will exploit it.
