Key Theme:
God, in His worthiness and perfection, calls His people to love Him with complete devotion, a love that is rooted in who He is.

Key Application:
Consider your daily life and habits to see what you truly love most, and intentionally choose concrete actions (obedience, service, clinging, walking in His ways) that express love for God even when the feelings aren’t there.

Key Verses:
Joshua 22:5 “Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments and to cling to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

Key Questions:
1. When you think about God’s character, what specific attribute stirs love and admiration in you right now?

2. What would it look like this week to choose love for God through action, even if the emotions aren’t there?

3. What “small things” might be taking up too much room in your heart and crowding out love for God?

Give Online

Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
