We don't know much about Jabez except he was called honorable and his mother named him Jabez.

Jabez - means pain.

Such a contrast...He was honorable yet born into pain.

1. Oh, that you would BLESS ME...

* Bless (Heb. Barak) - literally means to have God's open hand touch our earthly situations in a way that causes His favor to transform our circumstances.

Pray For BLESSING

* Pray daily for the Barak of God to hit your life in uncommon, supernatural ways.

* Life becomes far more difficult than it should when we begin to trust our own ability, connections, education, strength, and charisma instead of trusting the BLESSING of God.

God's Blessing on our lives is intended to empower us to BLESS others, not merely showcase our blessing..

*For some people, life is NEVER ENOUGH, because they’ve made life just about them.

Overcoming depression and sadness requires more than simply thinking happier thoughts. It requires living for a cause that is greater than you.

Happiness doesn't come from a lack of problems. It comes from living with purpose.

You asked...God heard...and the answer is this: Use what is unique about you to help as much as possible, as many as possible.

Learn to lean on God's presence more than you lean on your talent.

God doesn't call the QUALIFIED. He qualifies the CALLED.

Enlarge my territory–show me your PURPOSE for my life, so I can live a life bigger than my own. Then stretch me, use me, pour me out in ways that will matter for centuries to come!
