LifeGroup & Discussion questions:
Before attending LifeGroup:
NOTE: The new series builds on longer narratives. Allow time in the week to read the passage.
1. Read 2 Kings 4. Reflect and write one observation.
2. What does this passage teach us about God and people?
3. What scriptures help you understand the text and message? (i.e., 1 Kings 17:7-24; Hebrews 11:35)
During LifeGroup:
1. Do the Take 10 questions in groups of 2-4 people.
2. Read aloud or play a recording of 2 Kings 4. What are the main movements in the narrative? Have a lifegroup member retell the narrative as if they were there (first person).
3. Have two people briefly share when they experienced God's power over life or death. What lasting impact did it have on those lifegroup members?
4. What resonated most from Jordan's message? Why?
5. If you currently feel helpless, share with your group.
6. As you close, pray specifically for the expressed helplessness.
For next week’s message: read and reflect on 2 Kings 5.
