Jesus was asked what was the greatest commandment and He didn't stop with one, He stated two. Far too often Christian's get stuck in the weeds looking at extremes. Love God, Love people yes, what does that look like? Lets not get hung up on step one to neglect step two. Ok love people; loving family is easy, loving your enemy is hard I have seen many teach on loving your enemy. I may need to do one of those studies with the current events. However how can we be intentional about loving the bride of Christ, His church, Other believers.
In 2009 Rev. David Delp provided the source material for most of my message here.

We are instructed to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind. DON’T STOP The 2nd is like it love your neighbor as yourself! ALL THE COMMANDMENTS HANG ON THESE TWO!
We cannot stop with loving God we have to love others by modeling it for each other.

Yes everything we say and do is to be double checked in scripture. However, it is ok to say follow me as I follow Christ
