The Vine Church- Give
Giving gives us an opportunity to recognize that God is the Giver of every good and perfect Gift! It also allows us to fund the mission and vision of the church. Every life that is transformed by the power of Jesus Christ through The Vine is a result of your generosity. Thanks for being cheerful and generous givers!
https://app.securegive.com/TheVineTeaching Notes:
- Before we can lead like Jesus we must become like Jesus.
- When we lead like Jesus, we lead people to Jesus.
- Evangelism is sharing the good news of God’s goodness and grace.
- The people of God were not supposed to be a kingdom WITH priests. The people of God were supposed to be a kingdom OF priests!
- Monuments teach about the past. Movements shape the future.
Reflection Questions:
1. When you hear the word evangelism, what images come to your mind? How can you begin thinking of evangelism in a more positive light?
2. Why is it important to share the good news of God’s goodness and grace with people we have relationships with? What are some practical ways that you can share the Gospel with people in your life?
3. What would happen in our church and community if everyone at The Vine took seriously the work of sharing and showing the Gospel? What’s preventing that from happening?
4. What are some things that you can do to ensure that The Vine continues to be a movement instead of becoming a monument?
5. Who can you share God’s love with this week? What steps can you take to become more comfortable sharing your story?
