Faith in Action

Sunday February 2 | Series: Bonhoeffer: Faith in Action

Locations & Times

7900 Precinct Line Rd, Colleyville, TX 76034, USA

Sunday 10:00 AM

1. You were created for greatness
“Christianity preaches the infinite worth of that which is seemingly worthless and the infinite worthlessness of that which is seemingly so valued.”
― Dietrich Bonhoeffer
2. Have the courage to accept his call
“We are not to simply bandage the wounds of victims beneath the wheels of injustice, we are to drive a spoke into the wheel itself.”
― Dietrich Bonhoeffer
3. In our brokenness, reframe the pain
“We must learn to regard people less in the light of what they do or omit to do, and more in the light of what they suffer.”
― Dietrich Bonhoeffer
If everything is going your way, that’s called grace

If everything is not working out, that’s called life

4. Don’t forget the unseen battle
A Mighty Fortress is Our God, by Martin Luther

A mighty Fortress is our God, a Bulwark never failing
Our Helper He amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing.
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe
His craft and power are great and armed with cruel hate
On earth is not his equal.
5. I’ll not quit until I hear the Father say, “Well done!"
“My hope is that when I die, all of hell rejoices that I am out of the fight.”
― C.S. Lewis
