TODAY'S ANNOUNCEMENTS

Pick up your Gratitude & Generosity Journal today!
Our 2025 focus at Bear Valley is “A Year of Gratitude & Generosity”. As part of this year’s emphasis, we’re inviting you to journal every day to express your gratitude to God and remember how you’re experiencing God’s generosity. Pick up a journal at the Welcome Kiosk. Each journal includes instructions and a brief reflection from C.S. Lewis on the connection between gratitude and praise, as well as a Bear Valley pen. As you journal this year, be sure to share with us what you’re discovering about God through gratitude and generosity, too!

Serve with the Mobile Food Pantry
Saturday, January 18, 9:00-11:00 a.m.
On the 3rd Saturday of the month, you can volunteer for 2 hours to hand out food provided by Tarrant Area Food Bank to residents of Park Terrace Apartments in Fort Worth. Volunteers will pack up food for families and load it into cars. Text Kathy Anderson at 682-433-6340 to learn more and sign up.

Chili Cook-off & LifeGroup Connection
Sunday, February 2 at 12:15 p.m.
Add some spice to the new year and join us for this fun church-wide food fest! Chili will be judged and voted on between worship services, and we'll serve lunch at 12:15 p.m. This is also a great opportunity to connect with a LifeGroup for the upcoming months! Contact Melissa Hatcher at Melissa@bearvalleychurch.com to enter the competition or help with the event.

A Powerful Holocaust Presentation
Wednesday, February 5 at 6:30 p.m.
Join us as Anna Salton Eisen shares with us a powerful and personal presentation on the Holocaust. Anna tells her father's story of survival in ten concentration camps and her mother's courageous mission to gather Jewish children after the war. Anna takes you on a journey back in time to uncover the buried secrets of her family's past. She is a nationally recognized speaker who helps bring the enduring ramifications of the Holocaust to light for us today.

I Can Still Shine Day of Hope
