on this list and how their stories can give us a meaningful Christmas.

Look at Matthew 1 and see if there are any names you recognize. The family tree of Jesus is made up of a wide variety of people. Some are good. Some are bad. The stories of some of these people show that there is no depth of sin that God can’t overcome. What does that mean for you being part of God’s family?

Jesus isn’t about a naughty or nice list. He is about the forgiveness. He came as the Lamb of God who takes away our sins. Do you see yourself still trying to earn your way with God?
