Discussion Questions - Re-read our main passage from this week (1 Thessalonians 5:1-11) and then with your Growth Group, family, friends, etc. thoughtfully answer the following:
1. What’s a practical way you can “put on” faith and love today?
2. Every day we get dressed, and every day we need to be intentional to put on Christ… how can you remind yourself of this?
3. Have you ever lost hope? How is it hard to live for Christ if you don’t have hope?
4. Our passage says we aren’t destined for wrath, but for salvation. Is your relationship with God characterized by fear of His wrath, or confidence in His salvation?
5. Ken referenced faith, love & hope in terms of past, present and future. How does the past reality of Jesus’ death and resurrection provide the basis of our identity?
6. How does future hope lead you to love in the present?
7. What’s your next step in response to this message?
