LifeGroup & Discussion Questions
LEADERS: This is a good week for co-ed groups to discuss within gender groups at the start or by question 4. If your group participated in Rooted, read the Week 5 devotions in the week ahead
1. Read aloud Ephesians 5:3-13. Take a moment to read the passage again in silence, reflect, and write one observation.
2. What does this passage teach us about God and people?
3. What scriptures help you understand the text? (i.e., John 8:12; Romans 7:14-25; 1 Corinthians 6:12-20; Colossians 3:1-17; Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 2:15-17; c.f., Deuteronomy 5-11)
4. What resonated most from Jordan's message? Why so?
5. Naming one of your strongholds, how is it hurting you, others, and God? What gain might be experienced by overcoming the stronghold?
6. Write down the name of someone in your lifegroup with whom you would like to discuss your stronghold(s). Reach out to them this week.
7. Pray for one another.
For next week’s message: read and reflect on Ephesians 5:14-20.
