LIFE AT BELTSVILLE
Women’s Ministries Day
Today is Women’s Ministries Day. Mrs. Jasseth Taylor-Palmer will be our guest speaker. There will be a special recognition of our senior ladies for their contribution to our church.

New Sabbath School Classes
Adult Spanish Sabbath School Class meets in the church basement (Youth Room). Class starts at 10:30am.

New Believers Sabbath School Class meets at the Beltsville Adventist Community Center (BACC). Class starts at 10:30am.

Blood Pressure Checks
On the first and third Sabbath of each month, nurses will be in the Junior Sabbath School Room (downstairs in the educational wing) to take your blood pressure after the 12:00 Divine Service.

Worship in the Mountains
Sabbath, September 14 at 10:30am. Join us for a day of worship in God’s beautiful first book of Nature! We will enjoy the relaxing and gorgeous setting of Mount Aetna. Worship will be held outdoors from 11am to 12pm. A hike is planned for the afternoon and the nature center will be open as well. There will be a bonfire in the evening.

This is a Church-wide event so members from all campuses are encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided for everyone who registers in advance by Sunday, September 8 at the latest. Supper is $10 per person (Children 11 and under are free). If you do not register, you will need to bring your own food. Please register right now so that we can ensure that we have meals available for you by scanning the QR code in the paper bulletin.

There will be no children or youth Sabbath School classes here at Ammendale. We will have one adult Sabbath School class in the Church Fellowship Hall. A short worship service will be held in the Church Fellowship Hall for those that wouldn’t be able to attend the retreat.

Online Pathfinder Registration is Open for 2024-25
We are excited that another year of Pathfinders will be beginning soon! This is a great opportunity for young people in grades 5-12 to have fun learning about God and nature. Registration for the 2024-25 Pathfinder Year is now open Online. Please visit https://mychurchconnect.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/264/responses/new to sign up for the new year.

Singers Needed!

HEALTH MINISTRIES
Healthy Aging Month
Each September, we celebrate Healthy Aging Month to
promote ways people can stay healthy as they age. Physical activity has important health benefits for older adults—but people may find it hard to stay active as they age. The Move Your Way® campaign has resources that can help your older adult audiences learn about the benefits and find activities that work for them. Please access this website https://www.nia.nih.gov/health/healthy-aging for more information about Healthy Aging.

Remember: Physical activity can make daily life better and can help you manage many health problems. You can get more active. No matter your age, you can find a way that works for you. (health.gov)

You can register for the FREE National Healthy Aging Symposium: Innovation Across the Age-Friendly Ecosystem presented virtually on September 26th at 1pm to hear from experts on innovations to improve the health and well-being of older adults.
