HOPE IN ACTION: Committing to God
What keeps us going through the hard times? How do we stand up under the weight of painful or difficult circumstances? Hope. Hope that things will get better, that’s what gets us through. But, what does it mean to have hope? Hope is more than a feeling. Hope is confidence in the goodness of God. Hope moves us to action. We don’t wait around for our hopes to be fulfilled. Empowered by the Spirit of God, we actively work to see our hopes realized. Join us this Sunday as we experience together HOPE IN ACTION!

WHAT'S THE POINT?
Have you ever gotten your priorities mixed up? It is so easy for that happen. We can worship our work instead of God.
Listening leads to action.
All of the things that God calls us to do are simply tools that God uses to draw us closer to him, to help us listen.
HOW DO WE LISTEN TO GOD?
- BE READY TO RECEIVE
- BE COMPLETELY SURRENDERED
- BE OPEN TO HELP
When we are engaged in a great work, we prioritize it over all of those things that might distract us. We don’t have time for the distractions.
WHEN WE LISTEN TO GOD WE SEE OURSELVES CLEARLY
We are not only called to view ourselves in light of God’s Law only. We are also called to view ourselves in light of God’s Love!
THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH!
The Truth of God give us Clarity (Law and Love) ->
The Love of God gives us Joy ->
The Joy of God give us Strength ->
The Strength of God empowers us to Serve ->
Serving God leads us to God’s Truth ->
