Doing Makes the Difference

Christians are called to live a different life. Living out the Christian life requires us to receive the Word of God with an undistracted heart and act on it continually. The blessing of this calling is found in our receptivity and response. --- In the Christian life there is to be an inseparable connection between faith and action. As we study the book of James, we will see how genuine faith manifests itself in tangible deeds and righteous living, not just in empty words or beliefs. James urges believers to demonstrate their faith through acts of humility, compassion, justice, and love, highlighting that true faith is evidenced by transformed lives and active obedience to God’s word.
