Three Methods of Interpreting Song of Solomon:

1. Allegorical - the expression of truths or generalizations about human existence by means of symbolic fictional figures and their actions.

2. Literal - a powerful love story between a man and a woman that starts with courtship and ends in marriage.

3. Typological - a foreshadowing of a relationship between a man and a woman.

3 points that are important:

1. Physical beauty

2. Spiritual Integrity

3. Moral purity

Sexual impulse is god given…..

but because it's God given, it must be God guided.
