Joshua 15-19

1. God deals in specifics

Be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. (Joshua 1:7)

God is specific about:

• His Commands

• His Son, the Savior

2. God keeps records

The Bible is a record.

The Book of Life is a record.

But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles,

or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. (Revelation 21:27)

3. God makes promises

God was faithful to:

• Children of Israel

• Joshua

• You & me

Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken

to the house of Israel. All came to pass. (Joshua 21:45)
