ECC-Evangelical Covenant Church
Service of Thanksgiving
Today we pause our study of Revelation for a Service of Thanksgiving together. We invite you to join with us in a time of gratitude for all that God has given us. Then, join us for a Soup Luncheon and Dessert Auction after the service. The luncheon is for a donation of any size. The funds received from the luncheon and the dessert auction will go toward next summer's High School trip to UNITE. We hope you can join us! Just head over to the Life Center after worship.

Soup Luncheon and Dessert Auction Fundraiser
Expand
Come to the Life Center after service today as part of our Service of Thanksgiving. This fundraiser will help send our high school students and leaders to the Covenant’s triennial student conference called UNITE in July 2024. Come support our students by enjoying a “by-donation” soup lunch (meaning the cost is a donation of any amount towards our trip). You will be able to sample the homemade desserts from our students and families that will be Live-Auctioned in the LCA starting around 1pm after we eat. So come, enjoy a hearty Soup lunch, and win a delicious dessert to take home just in time for Thanksgiving!

Christmas Outreach

This year, ECC will once again be helping our Afterschool JAM families. JAM, which stands for Jesus and Me, is our afterschool ministry for Miller School students. We are setting our goal at $8,000 to be raised by December 3. A portion of the money will be used for Christmas, but most of it will go to fund our outreach ministries year-round. Please make checks payable to ECC with Christmas Outreach in the memo section or you can give online and select the Christmas Outreach link on our giving portal. We ask that you give towards this effort over and above your regular giving if possible. In the next week or so, we will be asking for volunteers for our party for the families on December 2, so please watch your email for those needs. Please contact Ronda with any questions.

Service of Thanksgiving
Twenty-fifth Sunday after Pentecost
Pastor Stacey Littlefield
Twenty-fifth Sunday after Pentecost
Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
