Angel Breakfast
Angel Breakfast is a time for families with children under the age of six to celebrate the real reason we celebrate Christmas. Join us Saturday, December 9, from 9 to 11 a.m. in Fellowship Hall for food, games, crafts and a look into the birth of Jesus. This is a free event for families - no drop-offs, please. Older siblings are welcome to participate. No registration is needed.
Discovery Days Staff Opening
Discovery Days Preschool is adding a Two’s Assistant position. This position works Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. If interested and for more information, email Director Lisa Myles at discoverydays@chapelrock.org.
Laughing All the Way!
Chapel Rock will host this evening of fun on Sunday, December 10, at 6 p.m. in the Worship Center. Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! But it can also be hectic! Clean comedian Leland Klassen and Christian recording artist Dan Macaulay created this show for families to hit pause for an evening, laugh a ton, sing some fun carols, and have a blast together. Plan to invite your friends and neighbors!
Food Pantry Requests
The Chapel Rock Food Pantry requests canned foods, pet food, diapers and personal hygiene items. The drive-thru Food Pantry is available on the first and third Thursday each month, from 3 to 6 p.m. Donations can be placed in the DropZone bin located in the Foyer.
Homeless Camps
As winter approaches, the camps can use new heavy blankets or ones in good condition, AA and AAA batteries, candles, toilet paper, small flashlights, bath towels, and baby wipes. Please place donated items in the DropZone bin located in the Foyer.

Communion
Chapel Rock practices an 'open communion' meaning that if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are welcome to participate in the communion service. The elder/staff member giving the devotion will provide instructions.
Regular encounters with God’s Word expose the sinful thoughts in us so that we can become more like Jesus!
God is present in His Word, and through His ‎Word, He reveals your heart to you.‎
Big Idea: The more vulnerable you make yourself to God’s Word, the more powerfully you will experience God being present in His Word.
How do we make ourselves more vulnerable to God’s Word?
1. Prayer
2. Memorization
3. Obedience
4. Community
Big Idea: The more vulnerable you make yourself to God’s Word, the more powerfully you will experience God being present in His Word.
If God, speaking to us through His Word can’t “outvote” our opinion, we don’t have a Christian view of Scripture!
VISION BENEDICTION
We BRING our brokenness to Jesus because a CHANGE to wholeness is the story we SHARE.
