1. Paul was an encourager (1:3-4), but he was also corrective (2:5, 3:6,10-12). How do you know when to encourage and when to correct? Can you do both?
2. What is suffering able to produce in you? (James 1:3-4) Is it worth it?
3. What does it mean to be comforted by Jesus? (2:16-17)
4. Who did Paul tell them to stay away from in 3:6? Why?
5. Look up the definition of busybody. Why does idleness tend to create relational trouble?
