Series Overview
During the month of September, we are going to take a deep dive into the story of the Good Samaritan. Each worship service during this month will be changed up a bit so that we can really think about how this scriptural passage should be played out in our lives. Our goal for September is that each and every one of us will really grapple with what it means in our lives to love our neighbor
Sermon Overview
This week we continue our sermon series on The Good Samaritan considering what it means to actually means to be a good neighbor. We will consider this story from the perspective of those who did not stop to help the beaten man lying in the road. Often these characters in the story are given a bad rap for their cold response to this man. In truth, there were probably very good reasons why they did not stop. We will talk about why we often struggle to know when it is appropriate to love our neighbor through the topic "Legitimate Excuses."
