Home Group/Study Questions
These questions are provided for your further study and application of today’s sermon. Thoughtfully writing out the answers to these questions will help to drive home the truths we are learning.

1. Was there any passage of scripture or statement in the message today that was particularly meaningful or applicable to you?

2. Read 1 Peter 3:7 and write down what God’s word says about how being understanding of a wife impacts prayer.

3. Read Matthew 16:24. What is it about self-denial that is so unpopular in today’s world? Why is it harder in family relationships?

4. Why is it so important for a husband to be capable of leading his wife spiritually?

5. Read 2 Timothy 2:15. What are some practical ways that a man can grow in his ability to handle God’s word?

6. What danger is there in a Christian woman marrying a man who cannot lead her spiritually?

7. What are some ways (if married) that you can love your wife more faithfully like Christ this week?
