Jake Utter Wedding Shower
Saturday, March 25 | 2pm | You are invited to a wedding shower in the McCormick Center for Jake Utter, son of Brian and Lynne Utter, and Julianna Godwin. They are getting married on April 22 in Florida. Jake is in New Albany, IN at Christ Community COTN doing their youth and media. Jake and Julianna are registered at Amazon and Target.
Wednesday Night Programming
We are between sessions of Journey Groups. The next session will start April 12. On March 29 and April 5, there will be no Journey Groups, dinner, or nursery. Kids and Middle Schoolers will still meet as usual.

District Assembly
Friday and Saturday, March 31 and April 1 | Each year, as part of the Nazarene denomination, our church district, the Chicago Central, gathers together to worship our God, celebrate accomplishments, share news, make decisions, and be spiritually restored. Friday night is the ordination service and Saturday is the business meeting which our pastoral staff and elected delegates will attend.
Easter Egg Hunt
Sunday, April 2 | 4pm | Games, crafts, egg hunt, and fun for all ages.
Manteno's Interfaith Crosswalk
Friday, April 7 | 10am | The Manteno churches come together to host this annual event where a cross is carried through our community to different churches. As we walk to each of the stops, a portion of the Easter story is read and a song is sung. At the last church of the day, a light luncheon of soup is served. This year it starts at St. Joseph Catholic Church and ends at the Christian Church of Manteno.
Good Friday Service
Friday, April 7 | 7pm | A time of remembrance and reflection upon our Lord’s death. We will start the service as one body with a time of singing and communion. Our kids will then be dismissed to the Children's Center and the adults and youth will transition to a Tenebrae service, a service of shadows.

Egg-a-Yard (Youth Fundraiser)
Attention tired parents, long-distance grandparents, and silly prank enthusiasts! The youth group is at your service to "egg-a-yard" of your choice. Imagine the look of delight on the faces of your children (or, say, your favorite co-workers or adult siblings) when they wake up Easter morning to a yard covered in pre-filled, colorful, plastic eggs and a special note from you. The price is approximately $1 per egg, with discounts for higher volumes. Orders must be placed by Sunday, March 26. Hiding will take place on the evening of April 8. Easter Choir
Sunday, April 9 | 10am | Easter Sunday we are having a choir. Only practice is that morning at 8:15am. It'll get you a good seat on the platform to see the baptisms.
