You Are Valuable to God Because of WHO YOU ARE!

You were made in God’s image - Genesis 1:26 - Then God said, "Let us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. ESV

You were on God’s mind and heart even before He created the universe - Ephesians 1:3-4 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love…” ESV

You Are Valuable to God Because ofWHAT YOU COST!

God so loves you, He planned to adopt you! - Ephesians 1:4b-5 — “In love, He predestined us for adoption through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will,…” ESV

God adopting you, came at a Great Price! - Ephesians 1:6-7 - “…to the praise of His glorious grace, with which He has blessed us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace…” ESV

1 Peter 1:18-19 - 18 “…knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. ESV

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR VALUE TO GOD.

You need to Know You are Valuable to God JUST LIKE YOU ARE! - Romans 5:8 - “…but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” ESV

You need to Know You’re So Valuable to God, HE WANTS MORE FOR YOU, than Who You Are!

You need to know Christ wants a RELATIONSHIP with you. -

Jesus wants to “dwell” in your heart - Ephesians 3:17a - “so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith…” ESV

Jesus wants you to really “know” Him - John 17:3 - And this is eternal life, that they know You the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. ESV

We are to be in a “vine” - “branch” dependent relationship - John 15:5 - I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. ESV

You need to know, Christ wants you to fully understand the VOLUME of His Love for you. - Ephesians 3:17b-19a - “—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge,…” ESV

You need to know Christ wants You to BE FILLED WITH ALL THE FULNESS OF GOD! -Ephesians 3:19 - “…that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” ESV

You need to know God wants to WORK THROUGH YOUR LIFE! Ephesians 3:20-21 - 20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. ESV

You need to know Christ wants you to LIVE A CHANGED LIFE - 2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. ESV Being a new creation should CHANGE THE WAY YOU WALK - Galatians 5:16 - But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. ESV. Christians are to “PUT ON” JESUS - Romans 13:14 - But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. ESV
