Prayer Focus:

Missions Focus: This month we are praying for Randy and Linda Lindsey. They are missionaries in Mexico City. Their ministry is focused on the deaf people in their communities. We, Corner Church, support them financially every month and want to support them with our prayers and encouragement as well. Please be praying for their physical health this week.

Local: Pray for people in your world that struggle to think of things they are thankful for. Seek to be an answer to prayer.

Church: Pray for our team of seven Corner Church people that will be going to Amman, Jordan in February to serve with the Abrahamsons, missionaries there that we support. Pray for provision for the team, safety in travel, and opportunity to be helpful to the missionaries there.

Dialogue Question:

Last week we ended with:
What changes when Jesus is introduced to the cycle?
Dialogue Question:

How do you tend to respond in a moment when you are facing impossible odds?
Dialogue Question:

How do you respond when you are asked, told, and/or expected to do the impossible?
Isaiah 40:29-31
29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 41:10
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 54:4
4 Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.

Joshua 1:9
9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Matthew 11:28-30
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Psalm 37:23-24
23 The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; 24 though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Luke 10:19-20
19 “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
