I Thank God

Verse 1
Wandering into the night
wanting a place to hide
this weary soul, this bag of bones

And I tried with all my might
and I just can’t win the fight
I’m slowly drifting, a vagabond

And just when I ran out of road
I met a man I didn’t know
and he told me that
I was not alone

Chorus
You picked me up
turned me around
placed my feet on solid ground
I thank the Master
I thank the Savior,

Because You healed my heart
changed my name
forever free, I’m not the same
I thank the Master
I thank the Savior, I thank God

Verse 2
I cannot deny what I’ve seen
got no choice but to believe
my doubts are burning
like ashes in the wind

So, so long to my old friends
burden and bitterness
you can just keep them moving
no you ain’t welcome here

Pre-Chorus 2
From now till I walk
the streets of gold
I’ll sing of how you saved my soul
this wayward son
has found his way back home

Bridge 1
Hell lost another one
I am free, I am free, I am free
Unstoppable God

Verse 1
Heaven thundered
and the world was born
Life begins and ends
in the dust You formed

Faith commanded
and the mountains moved
Fear is losing ground
to our hope in You

Chorus
Unstoppable God
Let Your glory go on and on
Impossible things
In Your name they shall be done

Verse 2
Freedom conquered,
all our chains undone
Sin defeated,
Jesus has overcome

Mercy triumphed
when the third day dawned
Darkness was denied
when the storm was gone

Bridge
Nothing shall be impossible
Your kingdom reigns unstoppable
We'll shout Your praise forevermore
Jesus, our God unstoppable
I Speak Jesus

Verse 1
I just want to Speak
The name of Jesus
Over every Heart and every Mind

Cause I know there is Peace
Within Your Presence
I Speak Jesus

Verse 2
I just want to Speak
The name of Jesus
Till every dark Addiction
Starts to Break

Declaring there is Hope
And there is Freedom
I Speak Jesus

Chorus
Cause Your name is Power
Your name is Healing
Your name is Life

Break every Stronghold
Shine through the Shadows
Burn like a Fire

Verse 3
I just want to Speak
The name of Jesus
Over fear and all Anxiety

To every soul held captive
By depression
I Speak Jesus

Bridge
Shout Jesus
From the Mountains
Jesus in the Streets
Jesus in the darkness
over every enemy

Jesus for my Family
I Speak the Holy Name
Jesus
Everything and Nothing Less

Humbly I stand, an offering
With open hands, Lord I bring

Everything and nothing less
My best, my all
You deserve my every breath
My life, my song

Chorus
I surrender, I surrender all
Oh, I surrender, I surrender all

Lord take control, I trust You
I'm letting go, to give You

Everything and nothing less
My best, my all
You deserve my every breath
My life, my song

Bridge
Everything and nothing less,
I give You
Everything and nothing less
forever

Everything and nothing less
Oh, my life is Yours
Yours, Oh!
Acts 13:21-23 Then they asked for a king, and God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years. 22 After removing him, he raised up David as their king and testified about him, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse to be a man after my own heart, who will carry out all my will.’
23 “From this man’s descendants, as he promised, God brought to Israel the Savior, Jesus.
1 Samuel 16:4 Samuel did what the Lord directed and went to Bethlehem. When the elders of the town met him, they trembled and asked, “Do you come in peace?”
1 Samuel 17:48-52 When the Philistine started forward to attack him, David ran quickly to the battle line to meet the Philistine. 49 David put his hand in the bag, took out a stone, slung it, and hit the Philistine on his forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown to the ground. 50 David defeated the Philistine with a sling and a stone. David overpowered the Philistine and killed him without having a sword. 51 David ran and stood over him. He grabbed the Philistine’s sword, pulled it from its sheath, and used it to kill him. Then he cut off his head. When the Philistines saw that their hero was dead, they fled. 52 The men of Israel and Judah rallied, shouting their battle cry, and chased the Philistines to the entrance of the valley and to the gates of Ekron.[k] Philistine bodies were strewn all along the Shaaraim road to Gath and Ekron.
1 Samuel 18:8 Saul was furious and resented this song. “They credited tens of thousands to David,” he complained, “but they only credited me with thousands. What more can he have but the kingdom?”
2 Samuel 7:11-16 ever since the day I ordered judges to be over my people Israel. I will give you rest from all your enemies.
“‘The Lord declares to you: The Lord himself will make a house for you. 12 When your time comes and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up after you your descendant, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He is the one who will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14 I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will discipline him with a rod of men and blows from mortals. 15 But my faithful love will never leave him as it did when I removed it from Saul, whom I removed from before you. 16 Your house and kingdom will endure before me forever, and your throne will be established forever.’”
Isaiah 9:6-7 For a child will be born for us,
a son will be given to us,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
He will be named
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
7 The dominion will be vast,
and its prosperity will never end.
He will reign on the throne of David
and over his kingdom,
to establish and sustain it
with justice and righteousness from now on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord of Armies will accomplish this.
2 Samuel 11:2-5 One evening David got up from his bed and strolled around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing—a very beautiful woman. 3 So David sent someone to inquire about her, and he said, “Isn’t this Bathsheba, daughter of Eliam and wife of Uriah the Hethite?” [a]
4 David sent messengers to get her, and when she came to him, he slept with her. Now she had just been purifying herself from her uncleanness. Afterward, she returned home. 5 The woman conceived and sent word to inform David, “I am pregnant.”
2 Sam. 12:24-25 Then David comforted his wife Bathsheba; he went to her and slept with her. She gave birth to a son and named[h] him Solomon. The Lord loved him, 25 and he sent a message through the prophet Nathan, who named him Jedidiah, because of the Lord.
