Welcome to our services this morning. We are glad that you have decided to join us in worship to our Lord today. If you are visiting with us, please take a few moments and fill out a visitor’s card so we can have record of your visit. If you have any questions concerning our church or any of our services, please feel free to ask one of our greeters or you can speak with our pastor. We would love to visit with you and get to know you and answer any questions you may have concerning our church or any of our services. If you are looking for a church home, we would love to talk to you about your salvation experience and we would love for you to join us in serving our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
I know we are living in difficult times and as the covid virus is again creating havoc across our nation, I want to give you some peace of mind, that God is still in ultimate control. As we hear of mandates and shutdowns across the nation, I am led that we will continue to have services. The church is a place where we all need to be, and the church is where people can come to meet the God who meets all needs. I do understand that some may have reservations about being in a public setting with the uncertainty of the virus and its effects of many, but I am steadfast in my belief that the church is vital to the spiritual wellbeing of all. I want to assure you that we are concerned about your health, and if you feel sick then please take all precautions, but do not let fear keep you from where God wants you to be. It is good to gather as a church to find strength in our God especially in uncertain times. Please be in prayer for our church and those who are affected by covid.
Make sure you send a back-to-school picture to Mrs. Rachel for the bulletin board. You can text her at 903-563-0672 or you can email them to email@example.com
Texas Baptist Institute Update
Bro Robert Wallace will be with us this coming Wednesday to speak about the school and the plans for the future. Please come and listen, ask questions, and learn more about our great school. Please prepare to give a love offering to Bro Wallace for the school.
As we get closer to getting started on the shop for Macedonian, I would like to ask church members to consider opening you home for a volunteer at times during this build. There are many coming, and it would be a great ministry opportunity if you have a spare room or two to open it up for those that are coming to help. If you have a travel trailer or camper that you might loan out for someone to stay at, please let me know so I can start working on that part of things to let people know when they call to check on places to stay.
