The Redemption Church - Seattle, WA
Sunday, July 31, 2022
Welcome, skeptics. Welcome, believers. We take what is called the "expository" approach and Pastor Jesse Campbell shows in both our sermons and aligned group curriculum how every passage points to Jesus. Bring your skepticism and hard questions. Bring your bad experiences with churches in the past. Share them all with a group and watch God exchange them for grace and redemption at The Redemption Church.

Communion next Sunday
We'll be taking communion next Sunday on August 7. As Christians, we are uniquely gifted members of the body of Christ who come together in peace to remember the broken body and spilled blood of Christ. If we, in any way, make communion about ourselves, we eat and drink grave judgment on ourselves. Because we have been forgiven absolutely, we absolutely forgive - especially before we take communion. God takes communion seriously and 1 Corinthians 11 gives us vital instructions for communion. Review what God says about it and prepare your hearts this week.

Baptism and potluck!

Join us on September 18 right after church at Lake Sammamish kitchen shelter for baptism and church-wide potluck! If you're ready to be baptized, please fill out the Connect Card and mark the appropriate box.

The Table: Questions for God

If you have questions about God and want to ask them in an open, safe space, then come to The Table. If you are curious, agnostic, skeptical, or just new to Christianity, join our friendly team via Zoom. We curate a series of very brief videos by Dr. Jesse Campbell and discuss them over the course of five weeks, doing our best to answer your big questions for God as we go. Zero pressure, infinite love. Come to The Table, friends.

Put me to WORK!

It sounds counter-intuitive, but this is the best way to get the most out of your experience in a church. In the Books of Ephesians, Romans, and 1 Corinthians, we see descriptions of how we all have spiritual gifts. We give these gifts back to God by serving in the church. For every need the church has, there is a Christian gifted to meet it. When people near Seattle search for "churches near me," let them find an army of servants ready to meet their needs. Fill out the form and someone from our team will be in touch to help put you to work!

Nominate a deacon or elder!

If God puts a man on your heart whom you believe strives to abide by the standards for DEACONS in 1 Timothy 3:8-13, or ELDERS in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9, and whose family life indicates thus, please ask him if he is so called and, if so, go the end of the About page of our church website. Nominations are considered annually.
