We know that Jesus offers eternal life. But do you know that Jesus also offers the fullest life possible right now? Romans 6:1-11 tells us that we can have new life and that we can be alive to God just as Jesus is alive to God.

I. The wrong way to appreciate God’s grace is to presume upon it- vv. 1-2
II. Baptism is a picture of our union with Christ- vv. 3-5
III. Union with Christ means we have died to sin- vv. 6-7
IV. Union with Christ means we live to God- vv. 8-11
Bottom Line: If you serve sin, you die empty; if you die to sin, you live fully

Explain the picture that baptism paints for us. What is one implication of this picture?

When are you tempted to sin because you rationalize that good will come out of it? Why is this inconsistent with your union with Christ?

What will it look like for you this week to live based on the life of Christ?
