After Jesus rose from the dead, he met his disciples with a plan for peace, purpose, and power
to live the abundant life he has for us. He said, “Peace be with you.” We need peace! “I am
sending you.” We also need purpose for our lives. And, he breathed on them and said, “Receive
the Holy Spirit” (John 20:21). With the Holy Spirit we receive power to live the life that God
designed.

The Spirit is working out gifting purposely, diversely, in everyone, for our good.

1. If you’re uncertain about what’s in the box, unwrap your gift.
2. If you’ve got a dusty gift, begin to carry it with you.
3. If you’ve got a well-used gift, invite the Spirit to upgrade you.
