What is Fear?
Fear is a spirit that is sent from the enemy to give us a negative report about the future that will derail us and cause us to make a fear based decision, that does not Honor God and will cause us to live outside of His Good, Pleasing, and Perfect will for our lives.

The size of the storm is usually not as scary as the surprise of the storm.

The nature of fear:

Good vs. Bad
Circumstantial vs Perpetual
Protective vs Paralyzing
Instructive vs Confusing and Fatalistic
Empowering vs Enslaving

2. Storms strengthen your faith.

The lack of fear is the result of an abundance of faith, not the absence of trouble.
