The Word of God is a gift so that we might know Him. Learning how to pursue the Lord through His Word leads to flourishing and great joy.
Chad Warren: Paul implores Timothy to continue faithfully in his walk with Christ by reminding him of the power, validity, and authority of God's word. Like Timothy our walk with the Lord depends on our experience with His word, especially our understanding of His word. Because the scriptures are inspired by the Spirit of God we need to appeal and depend on His spirit to guide us in our understanding of the Bible.
