LIFE GROUP/GRAB TWO FRIENDS QUESTIONS: How would you define a miracle? Have you or someone you know ever personally seen or experienced one?
1. Why do you think magic tricks or supernatural occurrences so appealing to people?
2. What are the red flags that someone’s heart has become hard toward God? How does a person’s heart become hardened toward God? How can we keep our hearts softened, or receptive, to God?
3. How would you describe the difference between “faith in God because of what He does” versus “faith in God because of who He is”? Which one are you more like right now?
4. What are the miracles you’re praying for right now?
5. When have you thought it would be easier to not follow God? Explain what you encountered.

· Read Exodus 7:1-13.
o What is your favorite of God’s miracles?
o If someone said to you, “If God did a miracle right now, I would believe in Him,” what would you say?
o Do you have faith in God because of what He does or because of who He is? What’s the difference?
· Look at 7:7. Do the ages of Moses and Aaron shock you? What sort of notions do we have about serving God at certain ages? Do you think it is easier to serve God at a certain age than at another?
· Is hardness of heart a problem for unbelievers only? What personal sins or problems of the world are you callous or indifferent toward? How should a believer deal with personal areas of hard-heartedness?
