We welcome you to Pathways. We hope you will find the people you meet to be warm and friendly. As we continue in our January Sermon series, "The Do-Over." Pastor Ed Williams will bring today's message from 1 Thessalonians 3:11 focusing on Prayer Feel free to take notes using this YouVersion app. Fill out a Connection Card (link provided below) and let us know how we can serve you better.
Pathways will be closed on Monday, January 17th to honor the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The church office will reopen on Tuesday, January 17th, at 9a. If you are in need of assistance, please contact one of the pastors on our ministerial staff.
Welcome to Pathways' Experimental Discussion Group for our 20s and 30s! (Yes, we'll eventually come up with a better name and description.) But if you're interested in walking through Rebecca McLaughlin's Confronting Christianity apologetics book, and if you're comfortable in the uncomfortable challenge that today's issues present to our relationship with Jesus Christ, then this is your group! We're looking for relevant and real discussions, looking for the intersection between our lives and our Lord and beyond the forms of our faith to real affect. Whatever your relationship status, your work or educational path, your churched history or not - all we ask is that you're in your 20s to 30s and willing to engage.
The staff at Pathways understands how lonely and isolating it can be when you are sick. We pray for recovery, but we also want to offer spiritually beneficial suggestions during those long days in isolation. We are seeking suggestions from you. It could be a streaming media recommendation, a YouVersion devo you've found impactful, an idea for a solo and masked outdoors devo, a podcast for solo drives, a craft or art idea, a book suggestion, etc. Let's try to hit all of the various "kinds of intelligence," and all of the different heart languages through which people best connect with the Father. Please complete the "GET WELL" suggestion form and send us your ideas. Let's help people who are sick feel loved and cared for as they recover.
Due to time constraints, we could not put everyone's submissions into the service on December 26th, but we are grateful for every story. If you would like to add your story, use www.wetransfer and email to Pastor Jonathan (firstname.lastname@example.org)
