Our Mission
Our church exists to help every person come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to develop as His disciple.

We seek to be relevant, connected people, radically changed by the love of Jesus, impacting our neighbors, near & far, with transforming truth and dynamic compassion.
What We Believe
Our core beliefs come directly from the Bible itself and are anchored in the amazing truth that God loved his creation so much that he sent his only son, Jesus, to make a way for us to experience hope, healing, purpose, and eternal life. (John 3:16-17)

“Nothing ever rose to touch the sky unless someone dreamed that it could, still others believed that it should and others willed that it must.”
-Charles F. Kettering
All the people came together as one in the square before the Water Gate. They told Ezra the teacher of the Law to bring out the Book of the Law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded for Israel.
Nehemiah 8:1
So on the first day of the seventh month Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, which was made up of men and women and all who were able to understand.
Nehemiah 8:2
He read it aloud from daybreak till noon as he faced the square before the Water Gate in the presence of the men, women and others who could understand. And all the people listened attentively to the Book of the Law.
Nehemiah 8:3
Ezra opened the book. All the people could see him because he was standing above them; and as he opened it, the people all stood up.
Nehemiah 8:5
Ezra praised the LORD, the great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded, “Amen! Amen!” Then they bowed down and worshiped the LORD with their faces to the ground.
Nehemiah 8:6
The Levites——instructed the people in the Law while the people were standing there. They read from the Book of the Law of God, making it clear[a] and giving the meaning so that the people understood what was being read.
Nehemiah 8:7-8
Then Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and teacher of the Law, and the Levites who were instructing the people said to them all, “This day is holy to the LORD your God. Do not mourn or weep.” For all the people had been weeping as they listened to the words of the Law.
Nehemiah 8:9
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength. The Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Be still, for this is a holy day. Do not grieve.”
Nehemiah 8:10-11
Then all the people went away to eat and drink, to send portions of food and to celebrate with great joy, because they now understood the words that had been made known to them.
Nehemiah 8:12
So, the people went out and brought back branches and built themselves temporary shelters on their own roofs, in their courtyards, in the courts of the house of God and in the square by the Water Gate and the one by the Gate of Ephraim.
Nehemiah 8:16
“If we hear the Word of God and it doesn’t upset us, then we have not heard it.”
-Martin Luther
Celebrate Joyfully
This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength. The Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Be still, for this is a holy day. Do not grieve.”
Nehemiah 8:10b-11
“Lake County search and rescue said the man reported having ‘no idea’ anyone was out looking for him.”
Samatha Lock The Guardian

-Nehemiah 8:17b
Benediction
May our vision be yours and not the other way around. Let us live fully in your calling on our lives; embracing and walking in the gifts Christ died to give us. For the sake of you Jesus, for the sake of your church take everything from us that is not your will and draw our heart to a divine dependency. Stir our heart toward your Word, to your vision for this Church to those things beyond our ability that will bring glory and honor and majesty to the way maker, miracle worker, promise keep, Light in the darkness, my God! That is who you are!
-Amen
