Series: Truth ‘22
Title: Storing God's Word in My Heart
Psalm 119:9–16
The leading question of Psalm 119 is: “How can I keep my life pure?”

- The first step in encountering the truth of God is to see it at work in me.

- Psalm 119 refers to God’s word in different ways, but all of them are meant to describe how God’s word opens our eyes to the truth.

Store God’s Word in Your Heart:
1. Know It.
2. Learn It.
3. Declare It.
1. Know It.
– Psalm 119:11

God’s word is true, which means we NEED to know it.

· Knowing God’s Word means:

o Study it

o Memorize it

o Internalize it

o It Lives in You
2. Learn It.
– Psalm 119:12
To Learn God’s word means that once you know it then know it deeper.
- Meditate on God’s word. (Psalm 119:15)
3. Declare It.
– Psalm 119:13
· You find life according to God’s word.
– Psalm 119:25
· The main focus of Scripture is Jesus Christ.
Declaring Scripture means declaring Jesus Christ.
