God planned from the beginning of time to give His Son to the world to bring salvation. Each Christmas we celebrate God sending His Son to us to be human like us, so that through Him we can be saved from our sin and enjoy an intimate relationship with God.

Advent is the time when millions of Christians gather to celebrate the birth of the Savior of the World. It is a time to reflect on what it means that Jesus fulfilled several of the Old Testament prophecies about the coming Messiah at His birth. Christmas is a time to celebrate A Promise Fulfilled by God through the birth of His Son, Jesus Christ, that brings hope, peace and joy to the world.

Challenge: In his book, Miracles, C.S. Lewis wrote, “The central miracle asserted by Christmas is the Incarnation. They say that God became man…If the thing happened, it was the central event in the history of the earth.” And this event did happen!
