In a few weeks we will all celebrate the day that God’s wonderful plan to show His unconditional love to His creation came in human form. This day we call Christmas represents the arrival of the baby who would become the man that proved that the father Loves us and would provide the model for us to love others. This Christmas will you focus on this Love or will you allow the world to sell you a cheap imitation?

1. Begin by having each member of your group make a list of ways they feel loved. (For example, “I feel loved by my spouse when...”) Next, have them make another list of how they express love to others. (“When I love someone, I love show it by...”)
2. How does love play into your preparation and celebration of ANY HOLIDAY?
3. What do you think it looks like to love someone unconditionally? Try to think of two or three different examples.
4. Is there something in your life or past that you think keeps God from loving you?
5. Is there any person or any groups/types of people you think you should not love unconditionally? What conditions do you think need to be met for them to receive love from you?
