Welcome to the Rock

Snow Team Ministry Opportunity
It’s time to gather volunteers for the Chapel Rock Snow Team. This group is responsible for clearing the sidewalks on Sunday mornings and for special events. Please call or text Ned Phillips at 317-409-6739 if you are in willing to help.

Christmas Tea
The Women’s Ministry is excited to host our annual Christmas Tea on December 8, at 7 p.m. Singer/writer Cami Shrock will provide the entertainment. Cost of the event will be $10 and tickets are available at a kiosk in the Foyer today.

Angel Breakfast
Share the true meaning of Christmas with the preschoolers in your life at our Angel Breakfast on Saturday, December 11, from 9 — 11 a.m. Enjoy games, crafts, and food that focuses on the Christ part of Christmas. Please register online at Tickets are $5 for one child or $8 for two or more.

CRCC Adventure Team

Ladies Elective Class
Congratulations to Chapel Rock’s Ladies Elective class on their completion of their three-month study of Exodus. They have wondered in the dessert, felt the pain of eating only manna and quail, witnessed the first Passover, and learned the Ten Commandments, again. Thank you to Marsha Miller and Phyllis Caldwell for leading these ladies on their journey. This class meets at 10:30 a.m. in room WC 113. All ladies are welcome as we begin a new study of “The Ladies of Christmas.”

Operation Christmas Child

Surviving the Holidays
Chapel Rock invites you to register for GriefShare's Surviving the Holidays seminar to help you get through this grief journey. It is a long, hard road to travel but you are not alone. The event dates are December 5, at 11 a.m., or December 6, at 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. Workbooks are $5. Register by visiting and choose which date/time works best for you. The family of long-time Chapel Rock member, Judy Beliles. Judy passed away on Sunday, November 14. Visitation and service will be Monday, November 22, at Conkle Funeral Home in Avon. Visitation will be from
11 a.m. — 1 p.m. and the service begins at 1 p.m.

Mark and Karen Becker on the death of Karen’s mom, Clara Friel, who passed away on Wednesday, November 17. Arrangements are pending at this time.

Noel and Ina Paul on the death of Ina’s brother-in-law, Mumtaz Mall, who passed away recently. The service was held in Canada.
Chapel Rock practices an 'open communion' meaning that if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are welcome to participate in the communion service. The elder/staff member giving the devotion will provide instructions.
