(1 Timothy 6:18-19 NIV) Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
(Corinthians 8:12 NIV) For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
When you loose your WHY you loose your WAY.
(1 Chronicles 29:17 NLT) I know, my God, that you examine our hearts and rejoice when you find integrity there. You know I have done all this with good motives, and I have watched your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously.
√ OBEDIENCE.
√ JOY.

(Acts 20:35 MSG) You’ll not likely go wrong here if you keep remembering that our Master said, ‘You’re far happier giving than getting.
√ COVENANT.
√ VISION.
√ BLESSING.

(Malachi 3:10-12 NIV) Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, . . . I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe," says the LORD Almighty. "Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,"

(Deuteronomy 15:10 NIV) Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.
√ EXAMPLE.
√ DEVOTION.
(2 Corinthians 9:6-7, 11 NIV) Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. ....You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

1. INTENTIONAL giving.
2. PERCENTAGE giving.

(Mark 12:41-42 NIV) Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.

(Mark 12:43-44 NLT) Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on."
3. ETERNAL giving.

(1 Corinthians 3:12-14 NIV) If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person's work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.
