Dean Regas at Royal Redeemer, Friday, Oct. 15

When something new appears in the night sky, everyone takes notice. Historically comets portended gloom and doom as a change to the status quo. Now, astronomers can’t wait for a chance to observe and study them when they wander close to Earth. And when a meteor hits the Earth like the one that exploded above Russia, you can’t help but look up.
Join Astronomer Dean Regas as he discusses where these sudden visitors come from and what we can do to protect ourselves from the next, “Big One.” He will also bring meteorite samples, actual space rocks for you to investigate. If it’s clear outside, join Cincinnati Observatory members for views through telescopes of the slim crescent Moon, stars, and more.
Friday, October 15, 7-8pm, followed by stargazing (weather permitting)
Cost is free. Tickets required. Register through Eventbrite https://bit.ly/3llA81s

In a constantly-changing world, ground your child’s heart in a living
relationship with God, whose love never changes, and in a calling to live out His love in the hearts of others.

What Frame of Reference do you see the Resurrection Through?
Lee Strobel: educated at Yale Law School, the award-winning legal editor of the Chicago Tribune and an atheist, looked at the resurrection through the frame of reference of his life experiences which said, "I never saw a dead person come back to life". When his wife became a Christian he set out to disprove Christianity by disproving the resurrection but ended up becoming a Christian, Pastor and well known Christian apologist. Read about his findings in his book "The Case for Easter".
Another frame of reference to see the resurrection through is wanting Scientific Proof of everything. But science itself contains statements that are accepted without proof (axioms or postulates in Plane Geometry) to prove more complex results. So not so different from looking through the frame of reference of God to prove Christianity and the resurrection.
Paul's frame of reference through which to see the resurrection was faith based on the words of the prophets that he saw lived out in Jesus. Jeremiah was one of those prophets.
Our frame of reference for seeing the resurrection is faith based on eyewitness accounts described in the scriptures. See John 20: 11-21 and 1 Corinthians 15: 3-8;
