People have always looked at Jesus through a particular frame of reference, and we all have frames. Why? Not because we are looking at different worlds, but because we have come from different worlds.
What are some of the things that have shaped your view of the world?

Childhood: family of origin
Religious upbringing: church we grew up in
Education: college we went to
Regrets: decisions we have made that we wish we do over
Tragedy and Joys of life?
Politics officiations?
God sent his Son to stand with us, on our side of the dirty frame, so that we never have to wonder if our own biases or misplaced trust have distorted our view of the real God. When we look at Jesus, we are seeing God. And when we look at Jesus that way, he reframes the way we see the rest of life.
What is your frame of reference, your faith, built on...what influences your view of God? Experiences and circumstances from your life that are full of your own biases; or the one who proved that he is the Son of God?
