Garden Ministry Fundraiser
The Garden Ministry is having a fundraiser. In the foyer, there are pumpkins and gourds out on a table that were grown in our own church garden. Take a few and make a donation to the Garden Ministry. Please put your donation in the giving station and label it "Garden Ministry."

Baseball/Softball Equipment Donations
Our church is joining forces with the Manteno Youth Baseball/Softball League (MYBSL) to help kids who might not be able to afford the equipment to play. We have set up a collection bin in the Children's Center, that will be available till the end of September, for used equipment. If you have any used baseball or softball gloves, helmets, cleats, bats, or bags, please drop them off in the red bin in the Children's Center. They will be cleaned up and made available to kids who need them next season!

Free Hand Sanitizer
The church received a couple of cases of hand sanitizer as a donation. Grab a couple of bottles off the table in the coffee area if you'd like.

Youth Rummage Sale
September 24 & 25 | The youth are gearing up to have a garage sale during Manteno's annual Oktoberfest. Start saving your "gently used" "sellable" stuff for them to sell. Drop off will probably be the week of September 19. More details forthcoming - just start sorting and saving.

New Student Ministry Coordinator
We have hired a new student ministry coordinator - a new part-time role to lead our student ministries through the remainder of our pastoral transition. Michael Grimm was a former intern here while he attended ONU for his undergraduate degree. He is now in grad school working on his Masters in Social Work and also serving at the Salvation Army in Kankakee County's Department of Social Ministries as an intern case manager. Welcome back Michael!

Not To Us

Verse 1
The cross before me the world behind
No turning back raise the banner high
It's not for me it's all for You
Let the heavens shake and split the sky
Let the people clap their hands and cry
It's not for us it's all for You

Chorus 1
Not to us
But to Your name be the glory
Not to us
But to Your name be the glory

Verse 2
Our hearts unfold before Your throne
The only place for those who know
It's not for us it's all for You
Send Your holy fire on this offering
Let our worship burn for the world to see
It's not for us it's all for You

Bridge
The earth is shaking
The mountains shouting
It's all for You
The waves are crashing
The sun is raging
It's all for You
The universe
Spinning and singing
It's all for You
Your children dancing dancing dancing
It's all for You
It's all for You

Bridge
All glory and honor and praise
All glory and honor and praise
All glory and honor and praise
All glory and honor and praise

Chorus 2
Not to us
But to Your name be the glory
Not to us
But to Your name

Oh The Blood

Verse 1
As I think on the cross
And the price that was paid
Royal blood that was spilled
So the dying could live

Verse 2
Every sin all disease
Broken hearts come to You
I'm so grateful as Your mercy
And Your grace cover me

Chorus
Oh the blood of Jesus
Oh the blood of Jesus
Hallelujah hallelujah
You're the reason I'm free
All the praise and all the honour
To the only Lord and Saviour
Hallelujah hallelujah
You're the reason I'm free

Verse 3
With my hands and my heart
I surrender again
All devotion adoration
With my life I will praise

Bridge
Now unto Him
Who takes all the sin of the world
Hallelujah

Who You Say I Am

Verse 1
Who am I that the highest King
Would welcome me
I was lost but He brought me in
Oh His love for me
Oh His love for me

Chorus 1
Who the Son sets free
Oh is free indeed
I'm a child of God
Yes I am

Verse 2
Free at last
He has ransomed me
His grace runs deep
While I was a slave to sin
Jesus died for me
Yes He died for me

Chorus 2
In my Father's house
There's a place for me
I'm a child of God
Yes I am

Bridge
I am chosen not forsaken
I am who You say I am
You are for me not against me
I am who You say I am

Great Is Thy Faithfulness

Chorus
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning
New mercies I see
All I have needed
Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness
Lord unto me

Verse 1
Great is Thy faithfulness
O God my Father
There is no shadow
Of turning with Thee
Thou changest not
Thy compassions they fail not
As Thou hast been
Thou forever wilt be

Verse 2
Summer and winter
And springtime and harvest
Sun moon and stars
In their courses above
Join with all nature
In manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness
Mercy and love

Verse 3
Pardon for sin
And a peace that endureth
Thy own dear presence
To cheer and to guide
Strength for today
And bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine
With ten thousand beside

Psalm 110:4 (NCV)
The Lord has made a promise and will not change his mind. He said, "You are a priest forever, a priest like Melchizedek."

Genesis 14:20 (NCV)
"And we praise God Most High, who has helped you to defeat your enemies." Then Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything he had brought back from the battle.

Genesis 28:15 (NCV)
"I am with you and will protect you everywhere you go and will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."

Genesis 28:22 (NCV)
"This stone which I have set up on its end will be the house of God. And I will give God one-tenth of all he gives me."

Leviticus 27: 30, 32-34 (NCV)
"One-tenth of all crops belongs to the Lord, including the crops from fields and the fruit of the trees. That one-tenth is holy and belongs to the Lord... The priest will take every tenth animal from a person's herd or flock, and it will be holy to the Lord. The owner should not pick out the good animals from the bad or exchange one animal for another...These are the commands the Lord gave to Moses at Mount Sinai for the people."

Malachi 3:8-10 (NCV)
"Should a person rob God? But you are robbing me. You ask, "How have we robbed you?" "You have robbed me in your offerings and the tenth of your crops. So a curse is on you, because the whole nation has robbed me. Bring to the storehouse a full tenth of what you earn so there will be food in my house. Test me in this, "says the Lord All-Powerful. "I will open the windows of heaven for you and pour out all the blessings you need."

Exodus 36:3-6 (NCV)
"They received from Moses everything the people of Israel had brought as gifts to build the Holy Temple. The people continued to bring gifts each morning because they wanted to. So all the skilled workers left the work they were doing on the Holy Temple, and they said to Moses, "The people are bringing more than we need to do the work the Lord commanded." Then Moses sent this command throughout the camp: "No man or woman should make anything else as a gift for the Holy Temple." So the people were kept from giving more."
Living Hope

Verse 1
How great the chasm that lay between us
How high the mountain I could not climb
In desperation I turned to heaven
And spoke Your name into the night
Then through the darkness Your loving-kindness
Tore through the shadows of my soul
The work is finished the end is written
Jesus Christ my living hope

Verse 2
Who could imagine so great a mercy
What heart could fathom such boundless grace
The God of ages stepped down from glory
To wear my sin and bear my shame
The cross has spoken I am forgiven
The King of kings calls me His own
Beautiful Savior I’m Yours forever
Jesus Christ my living hope

Chorus
Hallelujah praise the One who set me free
Hallelujah death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There’s salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ my living hope

Verse 3
Then came the morning that sealed the promise
Your buried body began to breathe
Out of the silence the Roaring Lion
Declared the grave has no claim on me
(REPEAT)
Jesus Yours is the victory whoa

Ending
Jesus Christ my living hope
Oh God You are my living hope
