Want to write a song? During the summer months, ThornCreek will be writing our own worship songs! Most songs are written by a small group. However, we are inviting the entire church to submit entries. We hope to be singing these songs in our worship services! During this series we will also be looking at the Book of Psalms. We'll be looking at the backstory behind 13 very popular psalms. If you have ever wondered if God hears your prayers, struggled with anxiety, or if you have ever felt like trouble surrounds you...don't miss church! It's going to be great! Fix It Ministry | The Fix It Ministry is now ready to take on projects. We need you to let us know how we can help with any personal repairs for your home or car. These volunteers want to use their God-given gifts to love on you. When you give them an opportunity, it brings joy to their hearts. It's a way they can serve God. So, let us know if you have anything and we'll talk about next steps. Please email Andy Fish at fixit@thorncreek.church.

Ministry Fair | August 21-22 & 28-29 | We will showcase all the ministries at ThornCreek Church. Please come to church with a prayerful and willing heart to sign up to serve God!

Small Group Expo | September 11-12 and 18-19 | Beginning this weekend, we will be promoting our Small Groups and encouraging people to join a group!

Baptism Class | September 12 | 12:30 - 1:30pm | Have you made that first step to give your WHOLE life to Jesus Christ? If so, then you next step is to be baptized. Come to this class to learn the "what's" and the "why's" of baptism as we prepare you for our next baptism weekend! It's going to be a celebration! Visit thorncreek.church/events to register.

Fall Festival for Kids | Sunday, October 31, 2021 | Mark your calendar!

Feed 5000 | November 2021 | Plan on helping to feed families in south Thornton and the surrounding area. We will work in partnership with Food For Hope and love on families whose children attend public schools that have challenging circumstances. During this week, we will need help with the logistics to feed 5,000 people! Plan on helping out!

Men's Retreat | February 17-19, 2022 (Thu-Sat) | This will take place at High Peak Campground outside of Estes Park.

TC Kids (Birth - 5th Grade)

ThornCreek Kids Ministry - Available in all services. Children's Church has been re-opened on Saturday nights. This means Saturday will be fully staffed like Sunday mornings. (This is the goal). We're also starting a brand new curriculum called, "Orange" this weekend. So, if you are a parent of a child (Birth to 5th Grade), COME EARLY to church on Saturday or Sunday, check in your child, and be in service before the first song starts! It's going to be great.

ThornCreek Kids Ministry strives to walk alongside and equip parents to be spiritual leaders in their children’s lives. Our hope and prayer is that with a strong faith foundation, kids will make the decision to continue growing as Christians, and become Christ-like disciples.

Our age-level classes allow us to reach children at their developmental level, so that by God’s grace they will be able to comprehend to the best of their ability, the topics we are covering in church!

All Ministry Partners (over the age of 18) have passed background checks, and all Bridge Team members (6th-12th graders) are supervised by adults.

ThornCreek Student Ministries mission is to create a safe place for students to encounter Jesus, ask questions, process struggles and to experience the love of God while ultimately integrating them into the body and mission of Jesus Christ.

WEEKLY PROGRAMS

ENCOUNTER | Wednesday 6:00pm-7:30pm - Youth Group is meeting in person. This is our midweek Youth Group service. At Encounter, we have food, games, deep Bible study, student led worship and small groups. We believe that we are better when we are together.

We will also continue to provide an ONLINE option for students that will be available on our website at thorncreek.church/students which will be posted every Thursday at 2pm. This will be the recorded youth service which will be posted online.

Did you come with kids? The messages at ThornCreek can be rated PG-13. As an option, we have a great Children's Ministry Program! If you choose to bring your kids into worship, please do your best to keep them from being a distraction to others.

Volume: If you find the music too loud, please visit the Welcome Table for ear plugs. Ear plugs are also available at the Worship Center doors.

Nursing Mom? We have a room just for you! This room is located through the Worship Center, and has been furnished with your comfort in mind! You can see the entire service live on a flat screen TV.

Distractions: To allow you and those around you to be more fully engaged in today’s service, please refrain from leaving the Worship Center during services. Also, please turn off or mute all cell phones and other mobile devices.
