i. Natural born enemy of the king
ii. Incapable of helping himself
iii. Alive at the whim of the king
II. The Meeting
a. Daily reminder of David’s love and Mephibosheth’s condition
Defining Grace: Biblical grace is not just getting what you do not deserve. Biblical grace is getting luxurious riches you do not deserve … from an enemy.

i. Humanity is the greater Mephibosheth
