Trinity Church
Saved From What? - June 13
If we are going to become disciple makers, we must have great clarity about who God is and what He has done for us. In our “Christian Culture” we often use words that carry much deeper and richer meanings than we might think. Join us as we dive deep into the word salvation and our brand new series called, It’s Not What You Think.

If God calls Salvation great, then what makes it great?
“In the Bible, shalom means universal flourishing, wholeness, and delight--a rich state of affairs in which natural needs are satisfied and natural gifts fruitfully employed, a state of affairs that inspires joyful wonder as its Creator and Savior opens doors and welcomes the creatures in whom he delights. Shalom, in other words, is the way things ought to be.”
- Cornelius Plantinga Jr.
You and I are partnered with God to bring about His salvation in the here and now so all who believe can also experience the fullness of His shalom in the age to come.
