Bible Study and Group Discussion

Acts of the Apostles 24:1-21 NLT

1. How would you describe the statement by Tertullus in verses 2-4?
2. What three accusations did Tertullus make against Paul?
3. What part of the accusations did Paul show were untrue? What part did Paul acknowledge as true?
4. What are three things Paul stated about his beliefs in verses 14-16?
5. How would you express your belief in God in a concise way?
Acts of the Apostles 24:22-27 NLT

6. Verse 22 says that Felix was quite familiar with the Way. What’s the difference between being familiar with the Way of Jesus and putting your faith in the Way of Jesus?
7. Why do you think Felix became frightened in verse 25?
8. If you were on trial due to your faith in Jesus, what would you say are your top two reasons for placing your faith in Jesus?
9. Paul shared his faith with Felix while waiting in prison a few years. What do you feel you’re waiting on God to do?
Spiritual Practice
A spiritual practice is something we do to interrupt our usual thoughts, feelings and patterns, enabling us to move more deeply into the life of Christ.

List three key things you believe about Jesus. Then, share with someone why those beliefs are significant to you.
Memory Verse
Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it. 1 Peter 3:15 (NLT)
Prepare for Next Sunday
