What that simply means is that we are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey. So whether you are a committed Christian or just starting to ask questions about this Jesus thing, we want you to know that you belong here! You can be you. We don’t have to agree on every religious or political idea in order to be a part of what Jesus is doing in our midst. In fact, when we come together around Jesus in spite of our differences, we get to experience a beautiful picture of the way God designed the Church.

We invite you to make an Impact with us!

H.E.I.R.S.
When you follow Jesus, you join God's family and become HEIRS to his kingdom as evidenced by your:
• Humble adoration
• Eternal focus
• Intentional discipleship
• Restoring community
• Sacrificial service

Revelation 1:4-20

Dear Church…Jesus

John is a disciple of Jesus who wrote 5 books of the New Testament (Gospel of John, 1-3rd John, Revelation)
- Revelation is a vision given to John by Jesus and is written to seven churches and for all churches after it.

What if we never had the Bible? We wouldn’t know these 3 things:
1. Who God is
2. What God wants
3. How to live for God

Our God gives us the words we are to live by and He has given us clear communication on what he wants from his followers.

Rev 1:4-8
Jesus Resume:
He was pure in message (the faithful witness)
He was the first to die and receive eternal life (firstborn of the dead)
He is the ruler of all the kings on earth (ruler of kings on earth)
He is eternal (Was and is and is to come)

Two distinct views of Jesus:
1. The Savior, The Redeemer, and The King
2. The Commander, The King, The Frightening

Rev 1:9-17
Imagine the scene: Jesus is scary looking, He commands authority, He has a mission

These churches are examples to us and what I wonder is what would Jesus want his church to look like, what can we get from each of these churches that pushes us to be a Church that Christ is proud of.

We aren’t to be a social club, we are here because we are on mission to do what Jesus has called us to.

Dear church, I am eternal and powerful listen to how you are to live your life, Jesus

Problem is, we don’t like it.

Rev 1:17-20
In case you needed a reminder

Dominate Thought: Jesus is eternal and powerful listen to Him
